New Attacks in Sumy Region: Casualties and Damage

Over the past day, Russian forces carried out nearly 70 attacks on 33 settlements across 13 communities in the Sumy region. Four people were injured, and two died due to a mine explosion.

This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration on Telegram, as conveyed by Ukrinform.

"The highest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. The enemy actively used guided bombs, dropping shells from UAVs, with up to 10 drops and 20 strikes from guided aviation bombs," the report states.

In the Hlukhiv community, a woman born in 1977 was injured due to a UAV strike. In the Sumy community, three civilians were injured from another UAV attack. All victims were taken to hospitals for examination and necessary assistance. One injured individual, a 43-year-old man, is in moderately serious condition.

In the Esman community, two men aged 56 and 50 died from a mine explosion.

The enemy also launched attacks using FPV drones in the Sumy region, damaging and destroying civilian infrastructure.

In the Hlukhiv community, non-residential buildings, windows of the administrative building of the market, civilian infrastructure objects, and a private car were damaged. In the Sumy community, civilian infrastructure objects, administrative premises, and non-residential buildings were affected.

In the Bilopillia community, a civilian infrastructure object was damaged. In the Putyvl community, there were damages to a civilian infrastructure object, non-residential premises, private properties, and vehicles.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces struck the Sumy community, resulting in three injuries.
