The Kharkiv region has suffered a significant blow: numerous fires, destruction, and casualties, including three rescuers.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
Last night, Russian aggressors relentlessly shelled Kharkiv and its surroundings for three hours using guided bombs, rockets, and drones.
The attacks in the Kyiv district led to large-scale fires on the premises of an industrial facility.
The shockwave also damaged high-rise buildings.
As soon as the emergency services arrived on site and began extinguishing the fire, the enemy struck again.
As a result, preliminary reports indicate that five people were injured, including three emergency service workers. Additionally, three fire trucks were damaged. Despite the risks, firefighters displayed extraordinary courage: they rescued people from under fire and moved them to shelters. A total of six people were saved, including two children.
In the town of Zmiiv, Chuhuiv district, the shelling caused a fire on the territory of a civilian enterprise and in the private sector. Production and storage buildings, as well as grass, were on fire. Here, three people were also reported injured.
