Odesa faced yet another terrifying night as the enemy launched a large-scale attack on the city using strike drones.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
The most damage occurred to a nine-story building, with apartments from the fifth to the eighth floor destroyed, and fires broke out on the fifth and sixth floors of one entrance.
Five individuals were rescued from blocked apartments, and 33 residents were evacuated.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police assisted local residents.
Search and rescue dogs were deployed to the site to locate potential victims.
The debris removal process is complicated by the risk of structural collapse, as indicated by a special seismographic device installed to monitor the movement of destroyed structural elements of the residential building.
A resilience point has been established by the State Emergency Service near the building.
Efforts to eliminate the aftermath are ongoing.
Rescuers also dealt with the consequences of attacks at other locations, where fires occurred in private homes and at a gas station.
Preliminary reports indicate that three individuals were injured.
A total of 26 units of equipment and 112 rescuers from the State Emergency Service were involved.
