On the night of July 22, a fresh drone attack struck the gas extraction facilities of NAFTOGAZ of Ukraine. Efforts to mitigate the resulting damage are currently underway.

This was reported by the Chairman of the Board of NAFTOGAZ, Serhiy Koretsky, on Facebook.

“During the night, Russia once again heavily targeted gas infrastructure. Numerous drones hit facilities of the Naftogaz Group. There are significant damages,” he stated in his message.

Currently, teams of specialists are working on-site to address the aftermath.

Koretsky noted that this is yet another mass assault on gas extraction infrastructure. Such attacks occur regularly, aiming to disrupt winter preparations and create gas supply issues for Ukrainians during the cold season.
