Under the initiative "Bring Kids Back UA," 11 Ukrainian children have been successfully repatriated from temporarily occupied territories and the Russian Federation.

This was announced by the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.

The ages of the children range from 10 to 17 years.

"One particularly touching story involves a family we managed to reunite with five siblings. The children were taken to Russia, and for a long time, there was no information about them. Eventually, they reached out to their adult sister in Ukraine, pleading: take us home.

However, even after that, the road back was extremely difficult. Russian guardianship authorities exerted pressure, prolonged the process, and tried to coerce them into changing their minds. Their return became feasible only after over a year of persistent and meticulous work," Yermak stated.

According to the head of the Office, Qatar acted as a mediator in the repatriation process.
