The Ukrainian military successfully eliminated Russian drone operators involved in the tragic death of a young boy in the Kherson region, who was killed by a Russian drone strike.
This information was released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In their statement, the military indicated that they identified the launch direction of the strike drone «Molniya», which was responsible for the child’s death. They also pinpointed the exact location of the Russian operators' team — a five-story unoccupied building in temporarily occupied Holaya Prystan.
Ukrainian drone operators directed five FPV drones at the windows of the specified floor of the building, after which no enemy drones were observed launching from there.
The General Staff asserts that there are grounds to believe that the enemy drone operators were eliminated.
It is worth noting that on July 9, Russian occupiers attacked the village of Pravdyne in the Kherson region, resulting in the death of one-year-old boy Dmytryk. His grandmother, who was with him outside, suffered serious injuries.
