Traffic Disruptions in Kyiv Following Night Attack

Details on traffic disruptions in Kyiv after a Russian attack.

In the capital, following a nighttime Russian attack, traffic has been restricted on five streets, and several trolleybus routes have been altered.

This information was shared by the Patrol Police and the Kyiv City State Administration via Telegram.

Specifically, traffic restrictions have been implemented on the following streets:

  • Volnovaskaya (from the intersection with Vatslav Havel Boulevard);
  • Kozeletskaya (from the intersection with Mykola Vasylenko Street);
  • Sichovykh Striltsiv (from the intersection with Student Street to the intersection with Mykola Pymonenko Street);
  • Yuri Illienko (from the intersection with Dehtyarivska Street to the intersection with Mytrofan Dovnar-Zapolsky Street);
  • Oleksy Tykhyi (from the intersection with Chuhuivskyi Lane to the intersection with Hrushetska Street).

Additionally, due to the impact of the Russian strike, some trolleybus routes have been modified.

  • Due to damage to the contact network near the "Beresteyskaya" metro station, trolleybuses №4, 5, 7 are operating to "Nivky" metro station towards Chornobyl Street.
  • Due to damage to the contact network at the intersection of Sichovykh Striltsiv Street and Vyacheslav Chornovol Street, trolleybuses №6, 18, 33 are operating to "Pochayna" metro station, while №16 goes to Oranzhereina Street.
  • The movement of trolleybuses №19, 35 is organized along Olena Teliga, Vadym Hetman, Chokolivskyi Boulevard, and then continues on their regular routes.
  • Due to a truck accident on Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, 142, trolleybus №11 is operating to the Cybernetics Center.

Also, the movement of trolleybuses №23, 28, 31, and №15 is temporarily suspended.

The Kyiv City State Administration and the police ask residents to understand the situation and to consider these temporary changes when planning their routes.
