Strike on Key Russian Military Production Facility

Ukrainian military has struck a significant Russian military production facility in Cheboksary.

In the night of July 5, Ukrainian forces targeted a crucial Russian military-industrial complex facility in Cheboksary (Chuvash Republic, RF).

The facility in question is the JSC «VNIIR-Progress», which manufactures adaptive antenna arrays known as «Kometa».

This information was reported by the General Staff.

UAF Strikes Key Russian Military Facility in Cheboksary

The target was the production capabilities of adaptive antenna arrays.

These arrays are used in «Shahed» drones, «Iskander-K» missiles, and other precision-guided munitions that the enemy regularly employs to attack Ukraine.

According to the staff, the munitions successfully reached their target area.

Results are being verified.

Strike on the «Borisoglebsk» Airfield in Voronezh Region

During the night, defense forces also targeted the Russian airfield «Borisoglebsk» in the Voronezh region.

The enemy is unable to penetrate further into the territory but continues to shell border areas.

“On July 5, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other defense components, struck the airfield «Borisoglebsk» in the Voronezh region,” the report states.

Russian aircraft such as Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM are stationed here.

According to the staff, a facility with guided bombs, a training-combat aircraft, and possibly other planes were hit.
