On July 5, units of the Ukrainian Special Operations Forces, in collaboration with other components of the Defense Forces, targeted the "Borisoglebsk" airfield in the Voronezh region of Russia, where enemy Su-34, Su-35S, and Su-30SM aircraft are stationed.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, SSO.
According to the General Staff, a facility containing guided bombs, a training-fighting aircraft, and possibly other aircraft were struck.
The results of the strike are being clarified.
"The Defense Forces continue to take all necessary measures to undermine the capabilities of Russian occupiers to strike civilian infrastructure and compel the Russian Federation to halt its armed aggression against Ukraine".
