Consequences of the Missile Attack on Smila

The number of casualties resulting from the nighttime missile attack by the Russian Federation on the city of Smila in Cherkasy region has risen to 11, including two children.

This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy regional administration, Ihor Taburets.

"According to preliminary data, three missiles and eight drones fell within the city limits. The enemy targeted civilian infrastructure," he noted.

In Smila, three nine-story buildings, private homes, and vehicles have been significantly damaged. At least four educational institutions and a psychiatric hospital have been affected. The educational building of the National University of Food Technologies, where a graduation ceremony for junior bachelors was held the day before, has been virtually destroyed.

At dawn on June 29, the Cherkasy military administration reported three injured and noted the "impact on civilian infrastructure" due to the Russian attacks.
