The morning shelling of the Ship District in Kherson led to severe consequences, as residential buildings were hit and six individuals sustained injuries - five of whom were hospitalized.

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, shared a video on Facebook.

“Since early morning, Russian forces targeted the Ship District of Kherson. Residential buildings were under fire,” the statement read.

As a result of the strikes, windows and facades of apartment buildings were shattered, and vehicles were damaged.

Six people - three men and three women - suffered various injuries including blast wounds and contusions.

Currently, five victims are hospitalized, while one has been released for outpatient care.
