A significant phase of the prisoner exchange has taken place in Ukraine, bringing back severely wounded defenders. This was made possible through agreements reached in Istanbul, where the Coordination Headquarters, under the direction of the President of Ukraine, facilitated the return of a group of military personnel in urgent need of medical attention.

Among those returned are servicemen from various branches of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including representatives from the Navy, Ground Forces, and the National Guard.

All released individuals are facing serious medical issues such as epilepsy, hypertension, and other conditions requiring extensive treatment.

Upon their return, the servicemen will receive medical assistance and rehabilitation, as well as have their documents restored and financial compensation provided for the time spent in captivity.

The exchange process continues, and the exact number of released individuals will be announced upon the completion of all stages.

The Coordination Headquarters remains committed to bringing all of our defenders back!
