According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as of Tuesday evening, June 17, a mass combined attack by the Russian Federation has resulted in 12 confirmed deaths: 10 in Kyiv and another two in Odesa.
As of 5:30 PM, 12 people have died as a result of the overnight Russian strikes. Of these, 10 were in Kyiv, and 2 individuals were rescued from the rubble in Odesa. Unfortunately, operational information is often subject to change, as search and rescue operations may uncover body parts initially counted as separate casualties. Final confirmations are provided by forensic experts after analysis in a mobile DNA lab.
The minister noted that rescue teams and police are continuing their work at the sites of attacks on residential infrastructure.
Rescue operations are ongoing at two locations in Kyiv. There are still people under the debris, and efforts will not cease until everyone is found, – assured Klienko.
