On the night of June 10-11, the Ukrainian capital experienced a significant aerial assault from Russian forces.
The incident was reported by the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Serhiy Tkachenko, and the mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko.
What Happened in Kyiv on June 10
Due to the debris from enemy drones, numerous damages were recorded across various districts in Kyiv. As of 05:58, Mayor Klitschko reported four injured individuals, all of whom were urgently hospitalized.
At 05:12, Tkachenko announced that seven districts of the capital had been affected by the attacks. Partial destruction of buildings and fires in high-rise and private homes were observed. Additionally, vehicles and warehouses were burned.
At 04:17, a fire broke out in a high-rise building in the Solomyanskyi district. In the Podilskyi district, drone debris fell at two locations, as reported by Klitschko.
At 04:02, Mayor Klitschko announced a fire at a business center in the Shevchenkivskyi district and warned that missiles were also heading towards Kyiv.
At 03:48, the mayor informed that one injured person was hospitalized in the Obolon district, while another received assistance on-site in the Darnytskyi district.
Approximately at 03:25, the Kyiv Military Administration provided operational updates regarding the aftermath in various districts:
- Darnytskyi district: fire in a non-residential building; damage to a residential building (no fire); debris falling in green areas; partial destruction in non-residential areas; fire in a warehouse.
- Obolon district: damage to two floors of a residential building; fire in an office building; debris falling in open areas.
- Holosiivskyi district: drone debris fell on the territory of a non-residential building.
- Desnyanskyi district: a car caught fire due to falling parts of the drone.
- Shevchenkivskyi district: fire in a residential building; damage to another building.
- Podilskyi district: damage to non-residential premises.
Currently, efforts to mitigate the consequences of the attack are ongoing in Kyiv. Rescuers, emergency services, and city officials are working on-site.
