Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has confirmed the tragic loss of rescuers due to enemy strikes.

Last night, missiles and drones targeted civilian and critical infrastructure. Emergency services, including the State Emergency Service and police, responded to every distress call. Unfortunately, we have once again suffered losses within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In Kyiv, three rescuers from the State Emergency Service were killed while addressing the consequences of enemy attacks. They were operating under fire to assist those in need. Nine rescuers sustained injuries, with doctors fighting to save their lives.

Additionally, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire in the Ternopil region. All injured individuals are receiving necessary medical assistance.

Our heartfelt condolences to the fallen heroes. They remained true to their oath and dedicated to their mission of saving lives.

Wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
