A tragic incident occurred in Kalynivske, Kherson region, where an explosion of munitions in a private residence claimed the life of an 8-year-old boy, while two other children and three adults sustained injuries.

Direct quote: "In Kalynivske, Berislav district, an explosion of an unknown object occurred in a private home. Sadly, due to adults' careless handling of munitions, a young boy has lost his life."
Additionally, two women were injured: one, aged 36, experienced acute stress reaction, while another, 37, suffered severe injuries including explosive and cranial injuries, contusions, and multiple shrapnel wounds. Both were hospitalized for medical assistance.
Prokudin later reported that three children were among the injured, including an 8-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl, who sustained mine-explosive injuries and were taken to the hospital in moderate condition.
A man born in 1989 was also hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury; doctors are currently conducting further examinations.
