At CES 2026, Razer unveiled the updated concept of its digital assistant, Project AVA, which was initially showcased at CES 2025 as an AI trainer for esports. Now, it is positioned as a comprehensive AI companion for work, gaming, and daily tasks.

Project AVA features a 5-inch animated holographic avatar with natural facial expressions, eye-tracking, facial movements, and lip-sync technology. Users can customize the avatar by choosing from Razer’s signature characters, esports athletes, or various personality types ranging from bold to calm and friendly.

This device operates on adaptive artificial intelligence that remembers user preferences and interaction contexts for more personalized suggestions.

Equipped with an HD camera and long-range microphone, Project AVA enables natural voice communication, while the PC Vision Mode allows the companion to "see" the computer screen and provide real-time advice—from gaming strategies to productivity tips.

Razer positions AVA not just as a gaming assistant but as a daily digital companion for all aspects of modern life, from organizing schedules and wardrobe advice to dinner suggestions and assisting with brainstorming, data analysis, and creative problem-solving. The company emphasizes that AVA is set to be the "ultimate partner" in video games—from strategy and puzzle games to professional-level competitions.

Pre-orders for Project AVA are already open, with device shipments expected in the latter half of 2026.
