The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the Florida launch site at 06:37 Kyiv time, carrying 28 satellites onboard. The first stage of the rocket landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean a few minutes after launch. The second stage of Falcon 9 continued towards the intended orbit. Currently, there are over 8,050 active Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit (out of more than 9,300 launched since 2018). This launch marked the 96th mission for SpaceX this year, nearly all of which (except for three) were conducted using Falcon 9 rockets.
This week, the company plans to execute two more launches: another Starlink mission from California and the 'Crew-11' mission with astronauts to the International Space Station from Florida.
