Google has announced a new tool named Flow, which combines various generative technologies, including Imagen for image creation, Veo for video, and the text-based Gemini model for cinematic clips.
Users will be able to generate video ideas using Gemini, create assets with Imagen, and then bring their concepts to life through Veo.
As noted by Engadget, Flow will also feature video editing capabilities, allowing users to choose camera movements and angles, edit and add new clips and scenes. Moreover, it will include an asset management system for organizing resources and prompts.
The new tool will be available in the US through a Google AI Pro subscription or the newly introduced AI Ultra. The AI Pro subscription will provide access to Veo 2, which includes enhancements such as camera movement control and the "Redraw" feature for changing aspect ratios.
In the Google AI Ultra subscription, the new Veo 3 model will be available, offering even better quality and the ability to generate videos with sound, including ambient noises and character dialogues.
Additionally, at Google I/O, new features were introduced, such as the Gemini chatbot for Chrome and the "AI Overview" extension for search in Ukraine, as well as the Imagen 4 model for image generation.
