The Ministry of Digital Transformation has initiated the monetization of the 'Diia' platform, with plans to establish it as an independent state company potentially leading to an IPO.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov during the DOU Day conference.
According to the minister, monetization of 'Diia' started in May 2025, and the platform may generate its first revenues as early as June. One of the initial monetization tools will be document sharing.
'Every month, tens of thousands of accounts are opened online through 'Diia'. For instance, monobank opened 22,000 accounts in a single day. Financial institutions are ready to pay for such services,' Fedorov noted.
He also added that the ministry is working gradually to separate 'Diia' into an independent state company that can attract businesses to the platform and potentially sell its shares in the future.
'We will gradually separate 'Diia' into an independent state company. Perhaps later, the company's shares will be available for sale (this likely refers to preparations for an IPO – initial public offering on the stock exchange). Thus, 'Diia' will become a marketplace where businesses can launch their own services and utilize our infrastructure,' the minister stated.
