Acer, renowned for its computing technology, is venturing into the wearable device market with the launch of the FreeSense Ring and AI TransBuds, as reported by Android Authority. Both devices utilize artificial intelligence for enhanced functionalities.

The Acer FreeSense Ring is a lightweight ring made of titanium featuring biometric sensors to monitor heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality. Through AI-driven data analysis in a mobile app, users receive personalized health and fitness recommendations. Notably, all features are accessible without a subscription fee.

The Acer AI TransBuds are wireless earbuds that provide real-time two-way voice translation. They support 15 languages spoken across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America, as well as a subtitle and transcription feature to capture conversations. To operate effectively, the earbuds require a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone via a dedicated receiver.

Both devices will be showcased at the Computex 2025 exhibition, with a market release expected later this year. Acer has not yet disclosed pricing and availability details.
