The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KMIS) conducted a nationwide survey that included questions about the use of artificial intelligence. A total of 1029 respondents aged 18 and older participated, with 64% having never used artificial intelligence.

9% attempted to use artificial intelligence but found no application for it in their daily lives. Only 26% of the respondents have practical experience, of which 9% use it a few times a month or less, 12% use it daily or almost daily, and 5% use it a few times a month.

The most frequent users of artificial intelligence are individuals aged 18 to 29, accounting for 54%. Only 4% of respondents aged 60 and over use AI.

Urban residents are more active in using AI than those in rural areas. Among the overall urban population, the rate of regular use is 21%, while among the rural population, it is just 9%.

There is also a significant disparity in the financial well-being of those who use artificial intelligence. The better the respondents' financial situation, the more they leverage new technologies.

Regarding the impact of artificial intelligence on the world and people, nearly half of the respondents believe that these technologies pose many risks and are likely to lead to significant problems. 39% think that AI fosters progress and brings humanity closer to a better future. 16% could not decide on an answer.
