The Ukraine national team successfully wrapped up its journey in the main round of the Euro 2026 qualifiers with a win against Romania.
The match, nominally hosted in Polish Koszalin at the "Hala widowiskowo sportowa", ended with a score of 3:1.
The visitors took the lead after a mistake by the Ukrainians – Mykytiuk inadvertently set the ball up for Mania, who delivered a powerful shot from close range. The Ukrainians responded with an elegant backheel goal from Artem Farenyuk.
In the second half, Nazar Shved put the "blue-yellow" team ahead, striking after a pass from Mykytiuk. Soon after, Rostyslav Semenchenko extended Ukraine's lead by slotting the ball into an empty net from Abakshin's assist.
