Ukrainian athlete Alina Filipovich earned a bronze medal in the 59 kg weight category at the European Wrestling Championship taking place in Bratislava, Slovakia.

In the bronze final, she triumphed over Hungarian wrestler Erika Bognar with a score of 3:2.

Filipovich reached the small final automatically due to the advancement of a neutral athlete she lost to in the quarterfinals.

This marks the third bronze medal for Ukraine in the tournament. Previously, Andriy Dzhelep and Oleksandra Khomenets also secured bronze in the 61 kg and 55 kg categories, respectively.
