The top tennis player from Ukraine, Elina Svitolina, has made it to the quarterfinals of the WTA 250 tournament in Auckland, New Zealand, with a prize pool of $283,347.

In the second round, Elina (No. 13 in WTA rankings) defeated Katie Boulter (112) from Great Britain with a score of 7-5, 6-4.

The match lasted for 2 hours and 3 minutes.

This was Svitolina's second victory over Boulter. Six years ago, they faced each other in the first round of the Australian Open, where the match ended with a score of 6-4, 7-5 in favor of the Ukrainian.

Elina's next opponent will again be a British player — the 68th-ranked player in the world, Sonay Cartel.
