Biathlon World Cup Kicks Off in Östersund

The first stage of the Biathlon World Cup 2025/26 will commence in Östersund on November 29, featuring relay races with Ukrainian athletes.

The Biathlon World Cup-2025/26 will kick off on November 29 in Östersund, Sweden. The competition will begin with relay races.
The women's 4x6 km relay featuring the Ukrainian team of Valeriya Dytrenko, Kristina Dytrenko, Olena Horodna, and Oleksandra Merkusheva (starting number 8) will take place at 14:15 Kyiv time.
At 17:55, Ukrainians Artem Tyshchenko, Vitaliy Mandzyn, Bohdan Tsymbal, and Dmytro Pidruchnyi will compete under number 5 in the 4x7.5 km relay race.
It's worth noting that the World Cup opening stage will continue on Sunday, November 30, with mixed individual relays (15:00) and mixed relays (17:40).
Individual races (December 2-3), sprints (December 5-6), and pursuit races (December 7) are also scheduled in Östersund.
