Following the latest week of European competitions, Ukraine has managed to enhance its position in the UEFA coefficients table by gaining crucial points.
Thanks to Shakhtar's victory over Shamrock Rovers, the nation earned an additional 0.5 points, which allowed it to rise to the 25th place, surpassing Azerbaijan and Slovenia.
On the other hand, Dynamo Kyiv faced a defeat against Cypriot Omonia, failing to improve the standings in the coefficients table this week.
It is worth noting that Ukraine started its European campaign in 28th place, which grants it 4 slots in the qualifiers (one in the Champions League, one in the Europa League, and two in the Conference League). Just three points separated eight associations, including the disqualified Russia, which still receives its points every season (4.333 each).
