Ukrainian distance runner Victoria Kalyuzhna earned a silver medal at the Warsaw Half Marathon, part of the World Athletics Label Road Races.
This was reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
Kalyuzhna completed the 21.1 km course in 1:12:13. Argentine runner Dayana Ocampo finished first with a time of 1:10:48, while Kenyan athlete Sylvia Medugu secured third place at 1:12:20.
This half marathon turned out to be the largest in Polish history.

It is worth mentioning that this is not Kalyuzhna's first podium finish in Polish half marathons; she previously won the Krakow Half Marathon in 2022. However, she finished in 41st place at Euro 2024.
