Ukrainian Team Shines at World Para Triathlon Cup

The Ukrainian national para triathlon team achieved remarkable success at the World Para Triathlon Cup in Alanya, showcasing their exceptional training and determination.

The Ukrainian national para triathlon team wrapped up the 2025 season with significant achievements, securing two medals at the World Para Triathlon Cup held from October 24 to 27 in Alanya, Turkey. The event saw participation from 90 athletes across 15 countries.

Our country was represented by five athletes with disabilities: four with mobility impairments and one visually impaired athlete, along with a guide. They competed in four of the 11 events featured at the cup, winning 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.

Individual results of the athletes:

  • Kolpakchi Alisa Volodymyrivna RTS5 (women), 2nd place
  • Oleksyuk Vita Mykolayivna (guide Matsupko Natalia) PTVI (women), 3rd place
  • Perekhrest Valeriy RTS3 (men), 4th place
  • Hegas Yaroslav Hryhorovych RTS4 (men), 9th place
  • Tovstyk Pavlo Volodymyrovych RTS4 (men), 11th place

The overall standings for the World Cup in para triathlon in Alanya were not compiled.
For veterans Yaroslav Hegas and Pavlo Tovstyk, these competitions marked their first international start in para triathlon, where they competed in the professional category. We congratulate our debutants on their successful start on the international stage! Additionally, we recognize the entire Ukrainian team for their commendable performance at the World Cup.
