Ukrainian runner Andriy Tkachuk emerged victorious in the 24-hour ultramarathon held from October 18 to 19 in Albi. The event attracted over 200 participants. Among women, the winner was Britain's Sarah Webster.
It is important to note that Tkachuk is a participant in the Russo-Ukrainian war, serving in the "Sich" battalion, defending his country in the east.
In 2019, he participated in the ultramarathon in Albi, finishing in 10th place after covering 262.788 kilometers. Last year, Tkachuk won the BukoTrail-2024 by running 78 km. Additionally, he holds the national record for Ukraine, having covered 435.466 kilometers in the 48-hour running championship.
