At the international Karate 1 WKF Series A stage held in Salzburg, Austria, Ukrainian karatekas achieved impressive results, winning 4 medals (1 gold, 3 bronze). Gold was earned by Yuliya Krot from Lviv in the 68+ kg category, marking the first gold for Ukraine this season. The bronze medals were claimed by: Nataliya Osadchuk (Chornomorsk, -61 kg), Denys Pyantkovskyi (Kyiv, -84 kg), and Oleksandr Kozyliyan (Chernivtsi, 84+ kg).

The final stage of the Series A is scheduled for October 3-5 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
