16-year-old Ukrainian tennis player Nikita Bilozertsev, ranked first among juniors, was defeated today at Wimbledon in doubles alongside Austrian Tilo Bermann. They lost to the Dutch duo Mees Rottgering and Gidde Schoenmakers, with a score of 1:6, 2:6.

Before the match, the Champion arranged an interview with Nikita through the Wimbledon press service. He attended the media meeting with his coach Stefan Pantov.

After Nikita's victory in singles over Kazakh Amir Omarkhanov (6:4, 6:2), we spoke with him, but he responded in Russian, even though the questions were in Ukrainian.

Today, coach Pantov suggested that the interview be conducted in English, claiming he did not understand Ukrainian. He also accepted questions in Russian, which he comprehends.

However, we had no questions for the coach. We were focused on Bilozertsev, leading us to cancel the interview on the spot.

Meanwhile, there are more serious questions regarding Bilozertsev. According to the Champion, he may change his citizenship from Ukrainian to Bulgarian. Rumors about this started circulating during his participation in Roland Garros. Today, we contacted three independent sources who confirmed that this issue exists.

Another indirect confirmation of these rumors comes from Bilozertsev's coach, Stefan Pantov, who also works as a regional coordinator for the Bulgarian Tennis Federation in the Black Sea region.
