On the final day of the 2025 European Championships in the Czech Republic, Ukrainian canoeist Ludmila Luzan secured a gold medal.

The 28-year-old athlete triumphed in the women's canoe singles over a distance of 500 meters.

Luzan outperformed Hungary's Reka Opavski and Spain's Maria Corbera.

This victory marks Luzan's first gold at the European Championships in three years and her fourth overall in her career.
