In the fourth year of the war, Ukrainian culture, represented by ensembles like the National Chamber Orchestra «Kyivska Kamerata», continues to strengthen the narrative of Ukraine as a country with a rich history and cultural heritage.

Every day, Ukraine presents new cultural projects that help Europeans understand the complexity of our history and its ties to European culture.

The recent Easter concert at the Berlin Philharmonic was a significant event, demonstrating that efforts to reach the domestic audience continue. Concerts are planned in the capital and frontline cities in May.

Ukrainian People's Artist Bohdana Pivnenko, the artistic director of the orchestra, states: «We must continue to introduce the world to our cultural heritage, as the memory of wartime tragedies fades quickly. Our goal is to draw attention to Ukraine by organizing vibrant cultural collaborations».

On April 21, the charity concert «Sound of Ukraine» took place in Berlin, dedicated to supporting women and children affected by the war. Leading Ukrainian musicians performed, with the concert conducted by the world-renowned Keri-Lynn Wilson.

Keri-Lynn emphasized that «every concert embodies the strength of Ukrainian music, remaining unyielding in the face of war».

The concert also featured special guest mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo, and the program showcased contemporary Ukrainian works, including compositions by Zoltan Almashi and Yevhen Stankovych.

Before the concert, an exhibition called «Voices of Freedom» honored the memory of Ukrainian artists who died during the war. All proceeds from ticket sales were donated to support the «City of Goodness» project.

The National Ensemble «Kyivska Kamerata» will also perform in Kharkiv with special guest Canadian clarinetist Julian Milkis, who actively supports Ukraine.

The May concert will feature works by prominent composers, including Giya Kancheli, and the complete musical cycle «Letters to Friends» will be presented.

These projects help Ukrainians realize the importance of their culture and broaden the world's understanding of Ukraine.

P.S. On May 7, Kancheli's cycle will be performed in Kyiv at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine.
