On Friday, April 3, 2025, at 6:00 PM, the Ukrainian premiere of the documentary film 'Tommy Gun: On the Road to Kupyansk' will take place at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II in Kyiv.

This screening is part of the FOR FREEDOM initiative.

Film Premiere 'Tommy Gun' About the War in Ukraine

'Gino', who served in the International Legion GUR since 2022 and participated in three operations, was severely wounded near Kupyansk. His life was saved by comrade Thomas Harris, after whom the film is named. After rehabilitation, Janette returned to create a documentary depicting the war through the eyes of its participants.

The film has already gained recognition at international film festivals. Organizers emphasize that the documentary serves as a 'powerful voice of truth' and a step towards uniting the world against Russian aggression.

Following the screening, there will be an online Q&A session with the director and the father of the fallen Thomas Harris.

The event is organized by the R. T. Weatherman Foundation as part of the FOR FREEDOM project, which also includes an exhibition about foreign volunteers at the 'Motherland-Mother' monument until the end of May. Admission to the premiere is free.
