The Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, emphasized that the country will not accept any restrictions on its internal and external policies during peace negotiations.

Sybiha stated that Ukraine will not accept "peace at any cost" and outlined the key positions in the negotiations that remain unchanged.
"First of all, we will not recognize any temporarily occupied territories as Russian," he stressed.
Additionally, he mentioned that the country will not agree to reduce the size of its army, cut back on its defense industry, military assistance from allies, or the presence of their troops.
"Thirdly, we reject any limitations on Ukraine's sovereignty, including in choosing alliances we wish to join," the foreign minister added.
Despite the lack of consensus among allies regarding Ukraine's NATO membership, Sybiha stated that Kyiv will continue to work actively towards this goal.
"No one, not Russia or any other country, can impose a veto on our choice," he emphasized.
It is known that the Trump administration recently attempted to expedite the peace process between Ukraine and Russia, preparing a "final proposal" for peace settlement.
In particular, the U.S. is prepared to recognize Russia's control over Crimea and ease sanctions against Moscow.
Later, Reuters obtained the text of proposals regarding the end of the war, which were presented to the American side by Ukrainian and European officials during negotiations in London.
