The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has announced a new agreement with the USA concerning the establishment of an investment fund for reconstruction.

The agreement specifies that a fund will be created aimed at the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Additionally, the agreement will enable significant investments, infrastructure modernization, and beneficial collaboration between Ukraine and the USA, as assured by the Ministry.
"This agreement confirms the American people's desire to invest alongside Ukrainians in a free, sovereign, and secure Ukraine," the statement reads.
According to the memorandum, the USA and Ukraine acknowledge the contribution made by Ukraine to strengthen international peace by voluntarily giving up the world's third-largest nuclear arsenal.
The document also emphasizes that the USA respects Ukraine's commitments regarding Eurointegration and agreements with international financial institutions.
"Thus, the negotiation process cannot hinder Ukraine's Eurointegration efforts," the Ministry added.
According to the document, negotiating teams between Ukraine and the USA are expected to report on progress by April 26, 2025.

MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE GOVERNMENT OF UKRAINE REGARDING ECONOMIC PARTNERSHIP AND INVESTMENT FUND FOR RECONSTRUCTION
CONSIDERING THAT the USA has provided significant financial and material support to Ukraine since the onset of the full-scale invasion;
CONSIDERING THAT the American people wish to invest together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign, and secure Ukraine;
CONSIDERING THAT the USA and Ukraine strive for lasting peace and strong partnership;
CONSIDERING THAT both countries recognize Ukraine's contribution to strengthening international peace;
CONSIDERING THAT both sides intend to create an investment fund for reconstruction;
CONSIDERING THAT productive negotiations took place in Washington from April 11 to April 12, 2025;
CONSIDERING THAT the USA respects Ukraine's commitments;
CONSIDERING THAT the Prime Minister of Ukraine will visit Washington to finalize negotiations;
THEREFORE, AS A RESULT OF THIS, the governments of the USA and Ukraine sign this Memorandum with the aim of expediting the finalization of the economic partnership agreement.
The document was signed by the US Secretary of the Treasury and the Ukrainian Minister of Economy.
