The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has expressed his desire for U.S. President Donald Trump to visit Ukraine prior to making decisions on peace negotiations.

He stated that Trump would have the chance to see the real effects of the conflict by meeting with those impacted.
Zelensky's direct quote: "We appreciate your stance.
But before making any final decisions, please come and see the people, the military, the hospitals, the churches, the children who have suffered from the war."
"Come and witness, and then we can discuss how to end the conflict. You will understand who you are dealing with and the consequences of Putin's actions."
It is worth noting that Zelensky emphasized the lack of sufficient pressure on Russia from the international community, allowing it to continue its attacks on Ukrainian cities.
Trump stated on Saturday that he believes the negotiations for peace in Ukraine are going well, but "there are moments when you need to act."
