Ukraine has recently received an invitation from the United States to join the "Peace Council".
When asked about this invitation, President Zelensky stated: "Yes, we have received the invitation. Our diplomats are currently working on it".
He further emphasized the difficulty of imagining collaboration with Russia and Belarus in a single entity.
"Russia is our enemy, and Belarus is their ally. It is quite challenging for me to envision how we could work alongside Russia in any council. This situation does not only apply to this "Peace Council". Russia represents a "council of war" alongside Belarus, particularly the Lukashenko regime", he added.
President Donald Trump initiated the formation of the "Peace Council". According to Bloomberg, the US administration is asking countries wishing to secure a permanent seat in this council to contribute at least 1 billion dollars for participation.
Currently, the US has invited over 40 countries, including Belarus and Russia.
