On December 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Ireland for official discussions. RTE reports this news.
During the visit, he is set to meet with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin and President Catherine Connolly.
Zelensky will address the joint session of the Oireachtas (Irish Parliament).
Furthermore, the Ukrainian President will participate in the opening ceremony of the Irish-Ukrainian Economic Forum, which will be attended by Irish Deputy Prime Minister Simon Harris and Foreign Minister Helen McEntee.
Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska will accompany the President during this trip.
The Irish Prime Minister welcomed the visit and reaffirmed Ireland's steadfast support for Ukraine, noting that the country has provided refuge to around 120,000 Ukrainian refugees.
Additionally, on December 1, French President Emmanuel Macron will host President Zelensky in Paris to discuss security guarantees and continue dialogues initiated in Geneva regarding the peace plan.
