The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, engaged in discussions with Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. regarding potential areas of cooperation between the two nations. This was shared via Facebook.
Zelensky expressed his condolences to the President of the Philippines for the loss of lives and destruction caused by recent typhoons.
He also informed about the joint efforts with the USA and other partners aimed at establishing a sustainable peace.
The head of state expressed gratitude for the support in peace initiatives, as well as the firm stance of the Philippines regarding Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The parties explored avenues for collaboration, including food security, agriculture, and digital technologies.
"The Philippines is also interested in the expertise and technologies that Ukraine possesses. We agreed that our teams will work on all matters in the near future," Zelensky noted.
