In a recent address, President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the serious challenges Ukraine is currently facing, which threaten both partnerships and national dignity. He emphasized the importance of constructive dialogue with key allies.

«This is one of the most difficult phases in our history. The pressure on our country has reached critical levels, and Ukraine is faced with a tough choice. We can either lose our dignity or a key partner. We face either complex 28 points or a harsh winter with additional risks», - stated Zelensky.

The President assured that instead of emotional statements, he will focus on calm cooperation with the United States and other partners.

«I will present arguments, persuade, and offer alternatives. We will not give the enemy any reason to claim that Ukraine does not seek peace or is not ready for negotiations», - emphasized the President.

He also called for unity among Ukrainians during these challenging times.

«I appeal to all Ukrainians: we must unite, stop internal conflicts, and cease political games. The state must function; the parliament and government must work together for our victory. It is crucial to remember who our true enemy is», - said Zelensky.

Reflecting on the early days of the war, he noted that many called for surrender then, but that did not happen, and it will not happen now.

«I am confident that in this genuinely difficult moment, I am not alone. Ukrainians believe in their country and unity. In all future negotiations, it will be much easier for me to achieve a dignified peace when I know that the people of Ukraine stand behind me», - concluded the head of state.

He also mentioned that the upcoming week will be eventful, and Ukraine will actively work on diplomatic solutions to the conflict.

As reported, President Zelensky received a draft plan from the US side that could activate diplomatic efforts.

Earlier, media reported on secret consultations conducted by the Trump administration with the Russians to develop a new plan for ending the war in Ukraine, consisting of 28 points covering various aspects of security and relations between the US, Russia, and Ukraine.
