On September 25, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko met with Lord Mayor of Copenhagen Lars Weiss to discuss new initiatives. He shared the details on social media.
Klitschko reminded that in April 2023, Kyiv and Copenhagen signed a partnership memorandum, which has already led to several joint projects.
Specifically, assistance to veterans is being developed, with Danish experts providing support for existing initiatives in Kyiv.
Additionally, they discussed the training module for newly appointed "veterans' assistants" who will work at the Kyiv Military Hub.
Employment opportunities for visually impaired individuals were also on the agenda, focusing on experience exchange between institutions in Kyiv and Copenhagen.
According to the mayor, Kyiv is keen on further collaboration with Copenhagen.
Klitschko also invited Weiss to participate in the city’s Investment Forum, the “Berlin Platform,” scheduled for November.
“Together with the Mayor of Copenhagen, we honored the memory of Ukraine's defenders, laid flowers at the memorial for fallen Kyiv defenders, and planted a tree on the Friendship Alley,” Klitschko concluded.
