Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to discuss critical issues concerning security, joint defense production, and support for Ukrainian citizens.

This information was shared by the president on his Facebook page.

He also briefed Tusk on his conversation with US President Donald Trump and other European leaders.

"We talked about the available diplomatic avenues and agreed to coordinate our efforts for common European interests. Ukraine, Poland, and other European nations equally require strong foundations for their security and independence. A reliable peace is needed by all, and I appreciate the willingness to assist in this endeavor," emphasized Zelensky.

The president also mentioned discussions regarding some regulatory changes in Poland affecting Ukrainian students and applicants.

"During wartime, challenges faced by children and students are particularly painful. I asked Donald to consider this situation and help the youth of Ukraine," he noted.

Additionally, Zelensky discussed with Tusk the status of negotiations regarding Ukraine's EU membership.

"Donald and I agreed that the first negotiation cluster for Ukraine and Moldova should be opened simultaneously. Ukraine and Moldova began this journey together and must continue to move forward together," the president remarked, expressing gratitude for the support.
