The meeting of foreign ministers from Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania, featuring Andriy Sybiha, Mihai Popșoi, and Oana Ciau, has commenced in Chernivtsi.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The ministers began their visit by paying tribute to the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, honoring Ukrainian defenders who sacrificed their lives in the struggle for freedom and independence over the past decade.
In a historic first, the foreign ministers of Poland and Lithuania, Radosław Sikorski and Kęstutis Budrys, will join the meeting online in the format of “Ukraine - Moldova - Romania.”
“The combination of these two significant formats will enhance synergy among participating countries and highlight the indivisible security of the Black Sea and Baltic regions,” the Ministry stated.
The agenda includes the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, cybersecurity, countering disinformation, Russian interference in domestic affairs, European and Euro-Atlantic integration, energy security, the development of border infrastructure, logistical routes, security in the Black and Baltic Seas, as well as in the Danube region, among other issues.
