"I am leaving the 'Servant of the People' parliamentary faction. This is my reaction to last week's voting results. I was at Maidan during the first days of the Revolution of Dignity. It feels like it was just yesterday. I remember the emotions and aspirations of the people. I have always supported Ukraine's European choice: "Away from Moscow". The Revolution of Dignity, at the cost of the lives of our best compatriots, made this civilizational choice. There are many questions regarding NABU and SAP, but the establishment of the anti-corruption infrastructure has been the main achievement of the Revolution of Dignity." - emphasized Dmitro Kostiuk
The MP also stated that he intends to support the presidential bill aimed at restoring the independence of NABU and SAP.
Kostiuk voted "for" a law that made the anti-corruption agencies dependent on the decisions of the Attorney General.
Note: Dmitro Kostiuk was elected to the Parliament in the extraordinary elections of 2019 from constituency No. 65 in Zhytomyr region.
