On Monday, US President Donald Trump stated he is «significantly disappointed» with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin due to Russia's attacks on Ukraine, warning that he may shorten the timeline for a peace agreement.
Trump made these remarks before meeting with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Scotland, as reported by Sky News.
«We have had discussions, you (Starmer – ed.) and I have had talks that we thought were concluded many times. Then President Putin comes out and starts launching missiles at cities like Kyiv, killing many people in nursing homes or elsewhere,» Trump emphasized.
The American leader also noted that he is «very disappointed» with Putin.
«I think I will have to shorten that 50-day deadline I gave him to a lesser number because I believe I already know the answer,» Trump stated.
The White House confirmed that President Trump will be visiting Scotland from July 25 to 29, where he plans to meet with Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
