The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, held an online meeting with the diplomatic advisor to the President of France, Emmanuel Bonne, the security advisor to the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Jonathan Powell, the diplomatic advisor to the Head of the Italian Council of Ministers, Fabrizio Saggio, and the deputy advisor to the Chancellor of Germany on foreign policy and security, Alexander Walla.
During the discussion, they summarized the outcomes of the NATO summit held in The Hague. They specifically noted the significance of the meeting between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of the United States Donald Trump.
The parties discussed the next steps in the negotiation process aimed at establishing a just and sustainable peace. Andriy Yermak emphasized the need to increase pressure on Russia to agree to constructive negotiations.
Additionally, the participants highlighted the support from leaders of member states regarding the initiation of negotiations for Ukraine's accession to the European Union following yesterday's European Council meeting.
A particular focus of the conversation was the preparation for the meeting of coalition leaders and the coordination of further contacts.
