During a press conference, Zelensky was asked whether he believes Trump understands the extent of suffering in Ukraine, considering his statements made in the Oval Office.

"We are not children playing in a park with Putin. He is a murderer who came to this park to harm our children," Zelensky declared.

The President emphasized that Trump cannot fully grasp the pain of the Ukrainian people.

"It’s not just about President Trump; any person who is not here, thousands of miles away, cannot truly feel and understand this pain," he added.

Zelensky noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 631 children have died due to Russian aggression.

Recently, Trump shared details of his conversation with Vladimir Putin, including his idea that Ukraine and Russia should be allowed to "fight a little longer" to make peace easier to achieve later.

He also compared the Russian-Ukrainian war to "two little kids fighting like crazy."

"They hate each other and are fighting in the park, while you try to separate them. They don’t want to be separated. Sometimes it’s better to let them fight for a while and then separate them," he said.

Additionally, on June 6, the US President stated that Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian airfields prompted Moscow to launch new massive attacks.
