Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky extended his warm congratulations to Karol Nawrocki on his election victory as President of Poland.

The President shared his wishes and hopes for future collaboration on his social media account on X (formerly Twitter).

Zelensky believes that the new Polish president, Karol Nawrocki, will be an important partner.

“I congratulate Karol Nawrocki on a remarkable achievement in the presidential elections. Poland, which embodies national pride and faith in justice, has been and remains a cornerstone of regional and European security, as well as a strong voice defending freedom and dignity for every nation,” − emphasized Volodymyr Zelensky.

He also noted his anticipation for effective collaboration with the newly elected Polish leader, aimed at strengthening both nations and Europe as a whole.

“By reinforcing each other on our continent, we empower Europe in global competition and move closer to achieving genuine and lasting peace. I look forward to productive cooperation with Poland and personally with Mr. President,” − added Zelensky.
